Fife Hearing Voices Network

how can we help?

Just as we are all individuals, the experience of voice hearing ( previously known as auditory hallucinations) is also unique. With this in mind we will help you find ways of coping with voices which work for you.

If it seems that no-one understands how you feel, we can introduce you to others who also hear voices. Many people find that sharing experiences and supporting each other to find ways of managing voices helps them to cope with their own voices.

We also have a small resource library which you are welcome to access. This includes guides to managing voices and personal accounts of voice hearing.

want to get in touch?

If you hear voices and are interested in meeting others who hear voices, or you are keen to talk to someone on an individual basis, then you can either write to us or contact us by telephone.

We will be only too happy to let you know when and where the nearest support group meets or, if you would like to talk to us individually, we can arrange too meet you at at convenient time and place.

We can also come along to your community group meeting or staff meeting to answer any questions you may have about our project.

Fife Hearing Voices Network offers a service Fife wide.

who are we?

Fife Hearing Voices Network is a service user led project. Members contribute to the project's running in many ways, from planning group programmes to actively taking part in the ongoing development of the project.

The project has been funded since 1995 by the Mental Health Specific Grant which is administered by Fife Council.

Both booklets can also be viewed online on our publications page.
